Job Title: Marketer/Admissions Coordinator
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year depending on experience
- Assess inquiries and respond to referrers within one hour when possible, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Evaluate PRI's (Patient Review Instrument) and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate all aspects of the admission process.
- Meet with families and guests on the day of admission, ensuring appropriate room preparation and introducing them to the nursing staff.
- Work with the administrator and staff to ensure consistent and efficient admission, discharge, and transfer meetings.
Relationship Building & Outreach
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local hospitals, physicians, and healthcare providers.
- Educate referral sources about the services offered by The Grand Healthcare System, highlighting our commitment to excellence in patient care.
- Represent our facility at community events, health fairs, and other networking opportunities to increase visibility and generate referrals.
Patient Admissions & Coordination
- Coordinate patient admissions, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition from hospital to our facility.
- Review medical records and patient histories to make informed decisions about patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, addressing all needs.
Business Development & Marketing
- Drive marketing initiatives and outreach efforts to expand our referral network.
- Work with internal teams to enhance service offerings and improve patient outcomes.
- Promote the facility’s services through presentations and by networking with referral sources.
Additional Responsibilities
- Cover the Admissions Coordinator position as needed.
- Travel to local healthcare facilities is required – this is not a desk job!
Marketing & Public Relations
- Actively participate in the marketing program to enhance the facility's public image and increase referral opportunities.
- Ensure guest-oriented admission processes to maximize satisfaction and promote positive word-of-mouth.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all resident information in accordance with HIPAA and corporate guidelines.
- Knowledge of PCC, FCC Portal, and Census Pro.
- Proven ability to make independent decisions and manage priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to guide a team.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Long-Term Care Experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and professional demeanor.
