As a Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing daily support to unit leadership and responding promptly to resident and family needs within the scope of practice.
- Using the nursing process, judgment, and skills to prioritize tasks necessary to deliver quality direct resident care and make decisions promoting resident safety and well-being.
- Performing and administering standard nursing treatments and medications, observing residents for desired or unwanted effects.
- Communicating and collaborating with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings, including lab results, incidents, and concerns.
- Monitoring and documenting vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses.
- Preparing, organizing, overseeing, monitoring, and evaluating the delivery of care for CNA assignments and activities, considering the category of needs and competency of personnel.
