THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE SOLICITATION - THIS POSITION IS BEING ADVERTISED THROUGH THE DIRECT-HIRE AUTHORITY (DHA) FOR DOMESTIC DEFENSE INDUSTRIAL BASE (DIB) FACILITIES AND IS OPEN TO ALL U.S. CITIZENS.

This is a TERM appointment NTE 2 years and may be extended for up to a total of 8 years.
Salary Range: $61,727 - $74,684 per year with growth potential to $97,086

Duties: Consults with, advises and makes recommendations to arsenal operating officials, division chiefs, and supervisors on behalf of the Director on issues such as: administrative and personnel matters; performance measurement; budgetary and cost control; continuous process improvement; workforce development and training. Participates in regular meetings with supervisors to address administrative issues, resolve problems, and provide recommendations for correcting or improving programs. Develops supplemental reports, studies, investigations, or additional data to ensure that appropriate facts are presented to the director for future evaluation and necessary management action. Monitors training requirements and ensures requested training meets regulatory requirements.
Qualifications: To qualify, your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Performing clerical and administrative duties such as: reviewing and composing correspondence/documents, scheduling appointments, and/or preparing documents & forms for personnel administration; (2) Utilizing automated systems to enter, correct, and/or retrieve information used to assist in preparing forms and/or reports; and (3) Making various arrangements for office personnel, such as: trainings, meetings and/or conferences. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

· Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
· This position has a data analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for data analytics level 2 certification within 24 months of being placed on the position.
