Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Irrigation Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and lawn care, with the ability to build and maintain irrigation systems effectively. However, we are also looking for seasonal help so college students, this can be great for you too if you can put down the computer and put on some work boots. This role involves working outdoors, utilizing mechanical knowledge and various tools to ensure efficient irrigation for gardens and landscapes.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.
- Assess landscape needs to determine appropriate irrigation solutions.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for installation and repairs.
- Dig trenches for irrigation lines and ensure proper placement of pipes and fittings.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns regarding their irrigation systems.
Requirements
- Experience not required, but beginning pay will be based on it.
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools relevant to irrigation installation and maintenance.
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physical tasks associated with installing irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of various types of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and soaker hoses is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
