The Laundry Attendant creates an experience for our hotel guests by helping the housekeeping team offer a larger-than-home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all linens and towels, as well as assisting the room attendants with stocking linen closets, carts, laundry removal and performing other projects as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Go above and beyond the guests expectations at every opportunity.
- Load and unload commercial style washers and dryers.
- Sort linens and personal garments as required.
- Fold towels, sheets, pillowcases and other facility linens as required.
- Keep folding room and laundry area in neat and clean condition.
- Operates as necessary, the washing machines, dryers and other laundry equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Must be flexible (work weekends and holidays), and be a team player.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Attention to detail and ability meet high standards of room cleanliness.
- Must be able to walk, climb stairs, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, twist, lift, push, pull and carry.
- Must be able to push and pull a fully loaded wheeled cart in excess of 100 lbs.
