Who We Are : Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations.
Job Summary : The non-CDL delivery driver will be responsible for local delivery activities within a defined territory. Schedule is 5, 8 hour days.
Duties / Responsibilities : Complete a pre-trip vehicle inspection. Drive the assigned route, delivering beer in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
Unload product from trailer using a pallet jack and / or hand truck. Check product in with store personnel. Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery.
Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered products for credit. Collect invoices and complete detailed route paperwork daily Rotate all products according to company standards.
Be courteous to customers and their employees at all times. Communicate effectively with sales reps. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements : Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations. Must be able to lift 25-35 lbs. regularly, and 160lbs to waist level.
Must be able to navigate with a hand truck full of products. Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input / output devices.
