POSITION: General Maintenance
SHIFTS: 530am-2pm and 1030am-7pm. We are looking for someone that can be both flexible and willing to work within these time frames. We can offer PT or FT hours.
JOB OVERVIEW: As a Maintenance staff member, you will be responsible to assist the Chief Engineer with maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
REPORTS TO: Chief Engineer
PAY: Pay for this position can be negotiated based on experience
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Include the following: however, other duties may be assigned.
1. Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from Chief Engineer/GM/AGM.
2. Cleans internal areas of buildings, including sweeping and mopping.
3. Maintains cleanliness of public areas, storage areas, and parking lot.
4. Empties trash cans and consolidates trash for weekly pickup.
5. Repairs parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete.
6. Operates snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
7. Assists with repairs plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts, switches and fuses.
8. Maintains all fixtures and equipment according to preventative maintenance schedule, and records such maintenance in log book.
9. Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in small machines as well as large equipment such as company vehicles, sweepers, and riding mowers.
10. Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
11. Assists with maintenance and service to pool and spa areas including testing and recording as stated by State and City regulations.
12. Keeps accurate records of key controls.
