The Glen hosts a diverse portfolio of premier sports car, open wheel and stock car races throughout the year.
Summary:
The Event Experience Specialist is responsible for assisting the Event Experience team and Track President in the strategic development and implementation of new and existing major events.
Responsibilities:
- Support marketing efforts related to events, including assisting with promotional materials, social media engagement, and event branding.
- Provide administrative support for event preparation and logistics.
- Assist the Event Experience Department in all areas of event planning and event activation
- Collaborate with other departments prior to and during event execution
- Engage with guests, enhancing the overall event experience through customer service and operational support.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth execution of all event activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned related to event preparation, operations, or guest services.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or 2 years into bachelor’s degree: Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends as required
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills; the ability to work effectively with staff and volunteers; display superior judgement and diplomatic skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment to excellence, self-motivation, and professionalism; Must be highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with organization and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet research, and experience working with databases
- Hold a valid Driver’s License
- True team player and collaborator
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation to and from the track location
