Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to management, providing guidance and support in various HR functions. You will be instrumental in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving talent management strategies. The HR Business Partner is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources functions that support the overall business plan and strategic direction.
Duties
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement affirmative action planning and strategic HR initiatives.
- Manage conflict resolution and employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and equitable process.
- Negotiate employment terms and conditions with potential hires and current employees.
- Oversee employee evaluation processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead talent management efforts, including succession planning and career development initiatives.
- Utilize HR systems for effective data management and reporting.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management and employee development strategies.
- Analyze workforce trends to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of affirmative action planning, conflict management, and talent management practices.
- Familiarity with HR and payroll software systems.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in employee evaluation processes and succession planning initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building relationships across the organization.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
3-5 years experience in human resource management.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
