Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Powder Coat Line Operators are responsible for loading, unloading, masking, unmasking, painting, inspecting, and packing parts on a conveyor line.
1st Shift Monday - Thursday (6am - 4pm; with overtime scheduled as needed)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Load and unload parts to a conveyor line
- Mask and unmask parts according to process sheets
- Spray off debris and water from the parts on the line
- Inspect parts for defects
- Powder coat parts
- Load parts on pallets for shipping
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have at least 6 months previous manufacturing experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be fluent using a computer
- Must have reliable transportation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to work from and read detail drawings and specifications
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment
- Must work well in team environment
- Must be organized, detail oriented, and dependable
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be able to read gauges
- Must be able to wear eye and hearing protection
- Must be able to use basic math skills
- Must be able to stand 10-12 hours a day
- Must be able to work in a hot environment up to 120 degrees
