Job Summary :
In this role you will be responsible for managing the region's commercial business and a team of outside salespeople that generate HVAC equipment and parts sales to mechanical contractors, owners, and select residential replacement dealers. You will also manage commercial sales coordinators and a team of inside sales engineers that establish new accounts, maintain existing accounts, create / manage quotes, and orders, and introduce new products and drive sales programs. Some overnight travel within the Mid-Atlantic region will be required. This position provides growth opportunities for future advancement within various parts of the business and reports to the VP of Sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Accomplishes objectives by supervising staff, organizing, assigns and monitors work processes
- Build a commercial team by recruiting, selecting and employee development
- Plans, monitors, and appraises job results
- Uses business software tools to uncover prospects
- Implements and management of sales programs and promos
- Works with Carrier's regional manager on marketing budget and inventory
- Works with CE Mid-Atlantic's leadership team to grow the commercial business segment
- Works with the engineering community, where applicable, to drive specifications
- Conducts training, job appraisals, recruiting and hiring
- Manages Region Commercial Sales Engineer Trainee Program
