Job Overview
Watson Chevrolet is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Aftermarket Car Accessory Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of aftermarket automotive accessories to Chevrolet customers, ensuring an exceptional experience that enhances their vehicle ownership. You will leverage your product expertise to match customers with the right accessories that fit their needs, and work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Expertise: Promote and sell aftermarket car accessories such as custom wheels, floor mats, performance parts, exterior enhancements, and interior upgrades for all vehicles sales.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized recommendations on accessories that align with their lifestyle and vehicle usage.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of most models and the aftermarket accessories available, staying up-to-date on new products and trends in the automotive industry.
- Sales Goals: Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively presenting accessory options to customers and closing sales.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, handling inquiries, and resolving issues related to product quality or installation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and service teams to coordinate the installation of accessories during vehicle sales or service visits.
- Up-selling & Cross-selling: Leverage knowledge of the Chevrolet brand and aftermarket products to recommend complementary accessories and services, increasing overall sales revenue.
- Follow-up: Proactively follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business or referrals.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive or aftermarket accessory industry.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with many vehicles brands and automotive aftermarket products is a strong advantage.
- Customer Focus: Exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and work in a target-driven environment.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Problem Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot and address customer concerns or challenges regarding products or services.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of using inventory and sales systems.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Automotive-related certifications or training are a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
- Ability to work outdoors during the installation of accessories (if applicable).

Pay: $35,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
