We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to prepare orders for shipment.
- Ability to lift approximately 30 pound packages.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including shipping and receiving documentation.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Skills
- Experience in warehouse work is preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including packaging standards.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery routes and schedules.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
