What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Receiving Associate position at Watson's Greenhouse and Nursery?
Job Summary:
This seasonal role involves primarily stickering incoming product to get product out in our Garden Shop as efficiently as possible. As part of the Receiving and Fulfillment group you will be at the center of getting product ready to go out for sale. Come spend your spring in our beautiful garden center!
Note: Store hours are 7 days a week, 7:30 to 6 pm. Must be able to work weekends and open to a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Applying stickers / pricing Labels to incoming product to prepare it to be put out in the garden center for sale.
2. Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to accomplish daily tasks and achieve team goals.
3. Physical Requirements:
- Lift, carry, move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Perform physical tasks with attention to safety guidelines and proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently with a strong attention to accuracy.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented
Working Conditions:
- The role involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Exposure to various weather conditions may be required when tending to outdoor plant materials.
