Job Summary
Receivers ensure purchased products are carefully and accurately received, stored, and labeled for sale at Watson’s. We are proud of the memorable experience we offer our customers, and this role is key to conveying our passion for living—garden, home, and life—to everyone who visits. This dual reporting position reports to the Receiving Lead and the Retail Manager of Watson’s of Federal Way.
Responsibilities
- Unload and unpack product shipments, inspect them for damages or discrepancies, and report damages and discrepancies to appropriate parties.
- Warehouse products in storage room and maintain storage room organization.
- Price and label products.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous gardening experience or strong plant knowledge.
- Superb communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push and pull racks on wheels of 100 lbs. without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in the elements and in an interior office
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
- Ability to stand, climb, squat, bend, twist, and stand for 8-hour shifts.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 an hour
