Service Technician – Accessory Installation Specialist (Full Time)

Location: Cincinnati (Evendale), OH
JOB SUMMARY:

As the Accessory Installation Specialist for our Service Technician team, you will be an integral part of our service operation, responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of a variety of accessories related to hot tubs and other products. This role demands a thorough understanding of hot tub systems and a commitment to providing the best service to our customers. This role is perfect for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This is a part-time position and is not eligible for insurance or 401k benefits.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hot tub cover installation: Safely and efficiently installs various types of hot tub covers, ensuring they are secure and fit properly.
- Hot tub Cover Lifter Installation: Assemble and install hot tub cover lifters, optimizing ease of use for customers.
- Salt System Installations: Set up and maintain saltwater systems, ensuring proper salinity levels and system functionality.
- Smart Monitoring Systems: Install and configure smart monitoring systems to enable remote control and monitoring of hot tub functions.
- Hot Tub Stereo Systems: Install and test hot tub stereo systems, ensuring high-quality sound and durability in a wet environment.
- Accessory Troubleshooting: Assist customers with troubleshooting various hot tub accessories to resolve operational issues impacting performance.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and offer advice on maintenance and care for hot tub accessories.
- Collaborate with team members across the Service Department to maintain an efficient workflow and uphold Watson’s high standards of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely service support and minimize customer downtime.
- Adhere to company safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Assist with other responsibilities as necessary including in-house warranty repairs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Available to work a Monday-Friday with occasional weekends
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate hand tools.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems related to hot tub accessories.
- Familiar with a wide range of hot tub brand and models.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Comfortable interacting with customers.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
- Previous experience in a similar role a plus.
- Familiarity with pools, spas, or home recreation products is beneficial but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Performing General Physical Activities — performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Handling and Moving Objects — Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving materials, and manipulating things.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
