Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping Operations:

• Prepare and package products for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Generate shipping labels and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with carrier and regulatory standards.
• Schedule and coordinate shipments with carriers or logistics partners.

Receiving Operations:

• Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing slips for accuracy.
• Break down skids, unpack, label, and store incoming inventory in designated areas.
• Communicate discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate department for resolution.

General Warehouse Duties:

• Operate forklifts, reach truck, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment as needed (certification may be required).
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and safe.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Provide updates on shipment statuses or inventory availability as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations is a plus.
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software, shipping platforms, and basic computer applications.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with shipping regulations and safety standards is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and physical demands.
• Full-time position with potential overtime during peak periods.
• Hours range between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Must be available to work some weekends.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
