Pest Control Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing effective pest management solutions to residential and commercial clients. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment methods.
• Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively, following all regulatory guidelines.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for pest control tasks, ensuring proper maintenance and care of equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with clients about pest problems, treatment options, and preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and follow-up recommendations.
• Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members on larger projects, including lawn care and landscape management as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, pest control techniques, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with sales techniques to effectively communicate service benefits to clients is a plus.
• Ability to operate farm machinery and landscape equipment safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
