We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing effective pest management solutions to residential and commercial clients. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment methods.
- Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively, following all regulatory guidelines.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for pest control tasks, ensuring proper maintenance and care of equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with clients about pest problems, treatment options, and preventative measures.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and follow-up recommendations.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members on larger projects, including lawn care and landscape management as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pest control techniques, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with sales techniques to effectively communicate service benefits to clients is a plus.
- Ability to operate farm machinery and landscape equipment safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
