Job Summary:
As a Service Technician, you will perform a variety of duties within the shop, in the field, and at customer locations centered on installing, repairing, and replacing pressure washers, diesel/kerosene and waste oil heaters, and air compressors. The service Technician must always exhibit positive and effective interaction with all Watts customers, associates, and vendors.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform work safely and follow all company and customer protocols
- Schedule flexibility; Overtime and overnight visits when needed
- Complete Job Forms accurately and timely
- Work as part of a team in the shop and at customer work sites
- Diagnose & service pressure washer, waste oil furnaces and compressed air systems.
- Refurbish, rebuild, and replace required components to restore equipment to required working order.
- Attend the required training programs on products, services and self-development programs offered by or through Watts Steam Store.
- Maintaining a clean work area for safety and to expedite project completion.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Mechanical knowledge of troubleshooting, repair, and installation. Pressure washer, waste oil furnaces, air compressors and mechanical systems preferred.
- Ability to read & understand electrical, and mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Professional, superior customer service skills
- Strongly motivated with an ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Basic computer skills
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis
