Prior experience with the processing of castings a plus.
CNC programming utilizing CAD/CAM software for milling and turning operations a plus.

Working knowledge of cutting tools used in CNC and conventional machining processes a plus.

(SAP a plus)

Knowledge of AutoDesk Inventor a plus.

As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will combine your expertise in CNC machining, metal fabrication, assembly, and general manufacturing processes with Lean Manufacturing tools to eliminate waste, improve productivity, and enhance product quality. Under the guidance of the Manufacturing Engineer Manager, you will research, justify, and manage capital equipment purchases, lead Kaizen teams, and develop manufacturing methods that drive efficiency and safety.

You Will:
  • Provide daily technical support for operations involving machining, metal fabrication, assembly, and valve testing.
  • Design machinery, tools, and fixtures using 3D solid modeling software.
  • Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement events to enhance quality, productivity, and safety outcomes.
  • Apply Six Sigma tools to improve process capability, repeatability, first-pass yields, and conformance to quality requirements.
  • Initiate and implement productivity projects, including capital equipment purchases.
  • Develop, evaluate, and refine manufacturing methods, leveraging knowledge of product design, materials, processes, and tooling.
  • Assist in creating process control plans and work instructions, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
  • Perform routine housekeeping and abide by all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Immediately report any job-related injuries or illnesses to your direct supervisor.


You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of manufacturing experience, including CNC machining, metal fabrication, and assembly.
  • Proficiency in solid modeling and CAD software, with tool and fixture design experience.
  • Hands-on skills using basic mechanical tools for assembly/fabrication tasks.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles and tools.


Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
