What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty for Mathematics position at Waubonsee Community College?
As a part-time instructor at Waubonsee Community College, you will have the opportunity to teach Developmental Math courses and contribute to the success of our students. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator who is passionate about teaching and learning.
Responsibilities include developing course materials, leading classes, and assessing student learning through both formative and summative methods. The successful candidate will also be responsible for student evaluations and timely and accurate reporting, such as attendance verifications, academic progress, and final course grades.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to effectively utilize instructional and classroom technology to enhance teaching and learning. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Math Education from an accredited college and competency in technologies commonly used in college-level instruction. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Mathematics and previous teaching experience in Developmental Math courses.
