The Adult Education Administrative Assistant is directly responsible to the Adult Education Data and Compliance Manager. This position has primary responsibility for processing registration and related enrollment tasks, maintaining student records, providing general program information, and assisting with student placement tests.
The Adult Education Data and Compliance Manager delegates authority to the Adult Education Administrative Assistant to carry out the following responsibilities:
Process new student information as required.
Process registration and enrollment information as required.
Answer phone, email, virtual chat, and in-person inquiries to provide general information to students, staff, faculty, and the general public.
Research registration and academic record issues.
Process assigned computer work, office correspondence or document imaging as required.
Understand and comply with FERPA requirements.
Maintain the security of student records, both physical and electronic.
Assist with student placement and benchmark testing sessions.
Assist with the annual Adult Education Recognition ceremony.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bilingual required.
Two years of related office/clerical experience required. Experience in a college environment preferred.
Excellent computer and software skills.
Excellent organizational, human relations and communication skills. Please attach the following documents when applying:

Work Schedule: Varies Monday through Thursday 3:45pm-9:00pm and Saturday mornings from 8:00am-12:00pm.
Work Hours: 25 hours/week
