Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for all areas of teaching, learning, and student success.
- Establish priorities and goals aligned with implementing the college's strategic plan.
- Lead academic programs, curriculum, assessment, and faculty engagement and development.
- Develop partnerships that define Waubonsee as the community's college.
- Ensure continuous improvement to maintain programs, methods, and processes.
- Promote innovative teaching and learning practices.
- Actively engage within the district to ensure relevance of programs and services.
Requirements:
- Earned graduate or professional degree in a related field from an accredited institution required.
- A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in higher education at the Dean level or higher.
- Experience in teaching/training at the post-secondary level, student success strategies, budget management, curriculum and program development, data-informed decision-making, and community engagement required.
- Demonstrated competency in communications, team building, collaboration, change management, and digital literacy required.
