What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Color Guard Director - WHS position at Waukee Community School District?
Position Criteria:
- Demonstrate aptitude for performing tasks listed
- Must exhibit ethical practices and be a role model to students
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Performance Criteria:
- Assist Color Guard Director with the scheduling and evaluation of Color Guard auditions
- Assist in creating drill/choreography and rehearsals as needed
- Attend all summer obligations including (but not limited to) rehearsals and band camp
- Assist with morning rehearsals during marching season
- Attend contests and parades as appropriate
- Collaborate with Marching Band staff including Directors and Percussion Leader as needed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the District
