Dover Precision Components (DPC) is hiring an accounting- based Financial Analyst. As part of the DPC finance team, you will assume P&L and balance sheet responsibility for our key business units. At the same time, you will be supported in gaining valuable experience across the non-finance functions, such as Sales, Production and Supply Chain to develop an accelerated comprehensive understanding of how the whole operation within DPC works. This will allow you to develop business skills, on an upward trajectory through the finance structure.

In this hybrid (onsite/remote) role, you will work onsite at our South Houston location near Pearland, Texas 3 days a week. Work remotely 2 days a week if you'd like.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of DPC's finance team, you will help manage business performance and the balance sheet and collaborate cross- functionally. In this role, you will:
- Provide full P&L and balance sheet reporting and analysis for one or more business units
- Collaborate with business leaders and the Senior Finance Business Partner in managing business performance, updating weekly revenue pulse, monthly forecasts, tracking KPIs, providing analysis on revenue, expense, and inventory to drive business goals
- Participate in evaluating and reporting on Internal Controls (SOX) efforts
- Drive inventory accuracy through strong internal controls, including physical inventory
- Prepare P&L and balance sheet forecasting for your business unit(s)
- Develop relationships across the multi-functions within the business
- Champion Continuous Improvement drive across Operations and Finance
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses to better understand and favorably drive business results
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- 2 years' experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within industrial or manufacturing industry
- ERP experience required, Syteline and OneStream are pluses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
- Demonstrated ability to be self-managed, efficient, organized, and flexible

- Accounting or Finance experience in lean manufacturing environment
