Position Overview:
As Senior Cost Accountant, this role will work closely with the Site Accounting Leads as well as the Waukesha CFO, to support the operations function, focusing on inventory management, operational metrics and cost analysis. This role will be based in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

As Senior Cost Accountant, this role will work closely with the Site Accounting Leads as well as the Waukesha CFO, to support the operations function, focusing on inventory management, operational metrics and cost analysis. This role will be based in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the standard costing of equipment and service component inventory
- Translate engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs) into financial costing
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations and Engineering to drive cost outs
- Partner with SIOP, Product Line and Engineering teams to reduce obsolete or slow moving parts
- Lead the monthly closing process for inventory
- Calculate and book the quarterly and annual inventory revaluations
- Assist/participate in the management of the Inventory count process
- Analyze variances including purchase price variance and production variances
- Analyze earned hours and efficiency reports
- Lead the annual standard cost roll
- Help in inventory forecasting
- Ad hoc reporting as requested by Site Leads, FP&A and CFO
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 8 years of experience with manufacturing finance or accounting for plant operations
- Strong cost accounting and inventory management skills
- Strong Oracle experience a plus, with advanced skills in Excel
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/ US GAAP
