What are the responsibilities and job description for the Steam Cleaner (CMD) position at Waukesha Pearce Industries?
Scope of Work:
Steam cleans equipment, parts and other components for our Construction Machinery Division.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Operate construction machinery and/or engine/generator; and cranes/lifting equipment
- Utilizes appropriate safety equipment
- Fills out appropriate paperwork on a daily basis
- Promote good welfare among the company and its’ divisions
- Perform other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or G.E.D
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)
- Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives.
- Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company
- Must conform to company policies and procedures set forth by the company
- Must have a current driver’s license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier standard if driving company vehicle
- Must be able to pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirements as outlined by the Department of Transportation
- Must be computer literate, a Windows based environment preferred (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend and twist several times a day
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours and days
- Must be dependable and able to work independently
- Must maintain good client relations
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment
- Must have the ability to effectively operate a steam cleaner
- Must have the ability to effectively operate vats
- Must have the ability to effectively operate forklift
- Must have the ability to effectively operate overhead cranes
- Must protect the company assets and interests
Working Conditions:
- Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Weekend hours as necessary
- Outside work
