WAGE WILL BE BASED ON EXPERIENCE
Job Purpose: THE ROLE INVOLVES SUPPORTING GENERAL LABOR FUNCTIONS SUCH AS INVENTORY MANAGEMENT, QUALITY CONTROL, AND MAINTAINING A CLEAN AND ORGANIZED WAREHOUSE. ADDITIONALLY, INCLUDES PROCESSING BILLS OF LADING, PICK TICKETS, AND VERIFYING THE ACCURACY OF MATERIALS LOADED ONTO OUTBOUND TRUCKS. THE ROLE ALSO INVOLVES PERFORMING ESSENTIAL OFFICE FUNCTIONS, SUCH AS FILING, RETRIEVING MAIL, AND SUPPORTING DAILY ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS.
Key Responsibilities General:
1. Perform daily inspection and routine maintenance on equipment as needed
2. Make adjustments during day to various tasks as company needs dictate
3. Perform frequent inspections to ensure proper quality and quantity of material and maximize production capability
4. Maintain required paperwork keeping track of time spent and material used
5. Maintain a safe work environment
Key Responsibilities Quality:
1. Daily temperature monitoring of bark/bulk piles
2. Perform cycle and quarterly inventory counts
3. Perform duties of the perfect pallet program every half hour
4. Supply quality control data needed for regulatory submissions
5. Incoming and outgoing load verification
6. Perform other quality inspections as assigned
Key Responsibilities Office:
1. Demonstrated ability in holding self and others accountable
2. Strong ability to multi task and perform under pressure
3. Familiarity with ERP software
4. Good computer skills to include Microsoft Office
5. Payroll processing for plant manager approval
6. Administrative duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
· Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· High level of confidentiality
· Able to lift 50 pounds
· This role will involve both warehouse and office settings
