Job Opportunity: Quality Control Lab Technician
Job Purpose
Ensure efficient and accurate lab testing of pressure-sensitive products on our production coaters, meeting all specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all company policies.
- Conduct specific product lab tests following outlined procedures.
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate Lab Testing Manual.
- Calibrate lab testing equipment routinely.
- Place non-conforming products on HOLD and conduct follow-up tests.
- Retrieve and organize coater retains.
- Support fellow lab technicians, including front lab tasks.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Lab Supervisor or Quality Control Manager.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferably experienced in the PS and/or paper industry.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
Skills and Licensure
- Proven job performance, reliable attendance, and punctuality.
- Computer proficiency; Apex knowledge is a plus.
- Strong math skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and follow-through.
