What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wausau Softball Club Pitching Coach position at Wausau Softball Club?
The Wausau Softball Club is looking to hire a Pitching Coach for the 2025 summer season. The team is located in Wausau, WI and a part of the Northwoods League Softball. The NWLS is in it’s second year, and the first of its kind, providing players the opportunity to develop for their college, Olympic, and future professional play. The 42 game season runs from mid-June through mid-August. Teams will be promoted similar to minor league baseball teams, playing games in front of fans in a fun, friendly, family-oriented environment.

- Understand, support, and embody the team's overarching philosophy as developed by the head coach
- Teach proper pitching and other softball techniques assigned by the head coach and assess players' skill development
- Provide in-game strategy and support
- Provide instruction and leadership for the team
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal development
- Other responsibilities/duties assigned
Qualifications include:
- Proven coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level, with a strong track record of developing student-athletes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity and sportsmanship.
Stipend and summer housing is provided.
