Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making by focusing on pricing analysis, margin optimization, and financial strategy. This role requires a strong foundation in data analytics and accounting, with the ability to develop insights that enhance profitability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, experience with financial reporting, and a desire to grow into a leadership role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance, including pricing trends, commissions, and margin analysis
• Conduct pricing and margin analysis to support strategic decision-making, ensuring competitive positioning and profitability
• Perform make vs. buy analysis to evaluate cost efficiency and support procurement strategies
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement product pricing strategies across various markets and channels
• Identify and resolve customer, product, and pricing issues, ensuring data accuracy and financial integrity
• Support the finance department in month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and investment opportunities
• Assist in the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, aligning with the company’s focus on continuous improvement
• Partner cross-functionally with teams to improve financial visibility and operational efficiency
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Required Work Experience:

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  
  

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and cost accounting
• General understanding of accounting functions, terminology, and the ability to apply accounting concepts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
