ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring successful execution from initiation to closeout, including the evaluation of contract documents, scope, and cost baselines.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring alignment with submittal milestones and shipment deadlines, while coordinating resources and sequencing activities efficiently.
- Establish effective communication plans tailored to customer preferences and internal requirements, maintaining open communication with all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure project requirements are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Compile and submit submittal packages, including engineering documents, test reports, and product data, while facilitating progress meetings and managing change orders.
- Track project performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, quality, and financial performance, using project management tools to ensure transparency and control costs.
- Address manufacturing quality issues, mitigate risks, and present performance reports to leadership as needed.
- Coordinate material shipments, resolve shipping or field issues, and provide customer support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Reconcile final payments, process credits, issue warranties, and facilitate post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and provide follow-up to ensure project closeout meets client expectations and organizational standards.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in business, architecture, or a related field, with 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, PMP certification, and experience with LEED requirements or sustainability practices.
