Job Description
The Team Leader provides leadership and support to their team on their shift. The Team Leader is an experienced Assembly, Materials, Crib, Receiving and / or Warehouse team member who works side by side with the Shift Supervisor and team members to ensure Tubelite products are produced correctly and shipped on time and complete.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily shift start-up team meetings
- Collect and chart data for the team boards
- Help train new Production team members
- Track and audit training for new hires and team members moving into different positions
- Working with the Shift Supervisor, help direct workflow and resources to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Help enforce work rules and safety regulations
- Fill in for assembly and / or warehouse team members when needed
- Fill in for Shift Supervisor when needed, primarily covering for vacations and weekends
