What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2025 On-Field Production Internship position at Wausau Woodchucks and Wausau Softball Club?
The Wausau Woodchucks and Wausau Softball Club are seeking a qualified individual to coordinate the events happening on the field and within the park to help create the best fan experience in Central Wisconsin! As a vital member of the Fan Experience team, the On-Field Production Coordinator will report to the Partnership Activation Coordinator and should be available for all home games, along with any additional events assigned throughout the season, including some in-office time.
Responsibilities Include :
- Taking the lead on coordinating and executing all pre-game, in-game and post-game promotions
- Assist in scheduling and communication with all pre-game and in-game on-field participants
- Writing the game script
- Work with video board operators and PA announcer to coordinate all on-field and in-game promotions
- Providing positive leadership to other members of the promotions and game production teams
- Theme night coordination
- Keeping the promotions areas of the stadium clean and organized
- Assist with stadium set-up and clean up before and after each home game and event
- Preseason stadium maintenance and cleaning
- Postseason stadium maintenance and cleaning
- All other duties as assigned

Annually drawing in more than 40,000 fans from all over the state of Wisconsin, the Woodchucks have a reputation of being a fun, family-friendly option for family and corporate entertainment in Central Wisconsin. The Woodchucks annually hire 15-20 interns. Former interns have gone on to work for the Minnesota Twins, Tennessee Titans, and many other minor league and collegiate league teams across the nation.
