What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at Wauseon Machine?
Targeted Semester: Summer 2025. (Potential that this position is extended into the school year if the candidate is open to it.) We’d like to start this candidate in early May 2025.
Hours Requirement: 30 hours/wk minimum.
Pay: $18 - $25/hr
Preferred Major: Data Analytics. (Not a disqualifier if candidates aren’t Data Analytics majors. Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or a related field)
Location: Wauseon, OH (onsite)
Overview of the role:
Who is Wauseon Machine?
We are a Precision Machining and Automation company, who manufactures custom Automated Machines for other companies all over the world. We also have in-house machining centers that allow us to machine our own parts but also outsource our capabilities to other facilities who need parts made.
Type of candidate we’re looking for?
The ideal candidate will be in school or needing an internship for graduation. We are open to candidates who have graduated as well.
What will they be doing?
The selected candidate will be working in our current ERP system (Job Boss) to gather and organize company information. From there, we need to format that information into Microsoft Excel and make it transferrable to a new ERP system. Once transferred to the new system, we need them to ensure things are running smoothly. These candidates will work closely with our Accounting and IT departments.
Skills we’re looking for?
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with SQL or Access
Experience with ERP systems
Salary : $18 - $25
