What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Development Engineer position at Wauseon Machine?
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build industrial equipment, including robotic automation cells and industrial machine tools.
- Develop conceptual designs based on customer requirements and provide technical support.
- Collaborate with various departments to create innovative automation solutions.
- Conduct design reviews, develop final project designs, and create documentation.
- Oversee machine safety risk assessments and conduct FMEA and safety risk assessments.
- Support projects through manufacturing, assembly, and runoff, and update documentation for submission to customers.
We require a minimum of 5 years' experience designing industrial machine tools and/or automation, including robotic work cells. Proficiency in Solidworks 3D parametric solids modeling and PDM Professional is essential, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams.
