What You’ll Do:
- Direct County Highway Operations: Manage all aspects of highway construction, maintenance, and repair in accordance with Wisconsin State Statute 83.01 and County policies.
- Solid Waste Program Supervision: Oversee County-owned waste collection sites and facilities, ensuring smooth operations and regulatory compliance.
- Budget Management: Develop and administer the annual budget, controlling expenses while planning for future projects and infrastructure improvements.
- Collaborative Leadership: Work with local government agencies to coordinate projects, manage contracts, and meet community needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in highway maintenance, business administration, waste management, or a related field.
- Experience: 4-6 years of supervisory experience in highway operations or recycling programs.
- Skills: Proven leadership abilities, experience managing budgets, and strong communication skills. CDL preferred.
- Licenses: Valid Wisconsin driver’s license required.
