The Corporate Returns Specialist is responsible for processing open box and defective customer returns in an accurate manner. Returns should be conducted based on company policy while using personal judgment, and if necessary, guidance and support from the Returns Manager and/or Branch Manager. Another main responsibility is to coordinate and execute defective returns to vendor partners in a timely fashion. Perform an array of functions including managing returned products, inspecting/testing fragile product and minor product repairs.

Responsibilities:
These are basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, other duties may also be assigned.
- Immediately inspect and/or test all returned goods which have been opened or returned as defective.
- Process the return according to our returns policy.
- Maintain the returned goods inventory area by making sure all items are properly tagged and organized.
- Maintain returned goods inventory counts by conducting regular cycle counts.
- Create Clearance Part Numbers for non-defective returns based on the proper guidelines.
- Depending on vendor, obtain and process return merchandise authorizations (RMA) from our vendor partners on daily, weekly and monthly cycles.
- Follow up on all credits and/or exchanges that are issued by vendor partners.
- Any additional responsibilities given by the Return Manager based on your location.
- Assist the warehouse in shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in product.
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply order; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
- Wearing proper safety equipment.
- Work with our corporate partners in facilitating bulk defective returns.
- Keep updated and accurate spreadsheets for bulk returns
- Communicate with corporate partners regarding shipment discrepancies
- OEM brand repairs such as amps and speakers.
- Main point of contact for specific vendor partners and working with respective RMA portal websites
COMPETENCIES
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- 2-3 years previous returns experience preferred. · Dependable and Reliable.
- A/V and electronics knowledge a plus
- Data entry and computer skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with limited direction.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- At least 1-year of technical experience.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear and see. Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
