Retail Sales Assistant – Weekly Pay & Career Growth Opportunities

What You’ll Be Doing:

A Retail Support Staff at a in-store promotional kiosk or stand plays a crucial role in engaging customers, promoting products, and ensuring smooth operations. Their key duties include:

Customer Engagement & Sales Support

  • Approach & Assist Customers – Actively engage with passersby, introduce them to the product/service, answer questions, and provide recommendations.
  • Product Demonstrations – Show customers how the product works, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Upselling & Cross-selling – Encourage additional purchases by suggesting complementary products.
  • Handling Transactions – Process payments, issue receipts, and manage cash or digital transactions.

Promotional Activities

  • Distribute Marketing Materials – Hand out brochures, flyers, samples, or promotional giveaways.
  • Explain Promotions & Offers – Clearly communicate discounts, special deals, and loyalty programs to customers.
  • Collect Customer Feedback – Gather insights on customer preferences and relay them to management.
  • Encourage Sign-ups – Register customers for newsletters, loyalty programs, or contests.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Stock Management – Ensure the kiosk is well-stocked with products and promotional materials.
  • Maintain Cleanliness & Organization – Keep the display neat, ensuring an attractive and inviting setup.
  • Monitor Inventory Levels – Report low stock levels to management for restocking.
  • Follow Safety & Security Protocols – Be vigilant about loss prevention and customer safety.

Administrative & Reporting Duties

  • Daily Sales Reporting – Record sales data, customer interactions, and feedback.
  • Coordinate with Supervisors – Report challenges, suggest improvements, and communicate customer trends.
  • Assist in Setup & Breakdown – Help with assembling and dismantling the kiosk before and after shifts.
