What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Special Events Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our sales team, representing our clients at high-profile sales events across the McKinney region. This includes corporate gatherings, sporting events, trade shows, festivals, and exclusive brand activations. Your role will focus on engaging with attendees, creating brand awareness, and driving sales through interactive event marketing strategies. Every day brings a new experience, and you'll thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of the duties involved as a Special Events Assistant (Sales Team)

1. Event Representation & Brand Promotion

  • Act as the face of the company and its clients at various high-profile sales events such as retail pop-up events, brand activations, retail kiosks sporting events, trade-shows.
  • Engage with attendees to create a positive brand experience, ensuring they understand the product/service being promoted.
  • Answer questions, provide information, and address the needs attendees may have about the brand.

2. Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Drive sales by proactively approaching potential customers and presenting product offerings in a persuasive manner.
  • Utilize interactive marketing strategies to captivate event-goers and generate interest in the brand.
  • Upsell or cross-sell related products or services when applicable.
  • Process transactions when needed, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

3. Lead Generation & Data Collection

  • Capture customer information for follow-ups, loyalty programs, or promotional campaigns.
  • Collect feedback from attendees to help improve future marketing efforts.

4. Event Setup & Logistics

  • Assist in setting up event booths, banners, promotional materials, and displays.
  • Ensure the event space is visually appealing, well-organized, and stocked with necessary materials.
  • Help with breakdown and cleanup after events, ensuring everything is returned or stored correctly.

5. Team Collaboration & Training

  • Work closely with fellow team members and event organizers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve sales techniques, customer interaction, and brand knowledge.
  • Support and mentor newer team members as needed.

6. Performance & Target Achievement

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals set by the company.
  • Continuously refine and improve sales techniques based on training and real-world experience.
  • Track personal progress and set growth-oriented objectives.
