Wave Media Agency is seeking a full-time social media producer / editor to assist with creating engaging video content primarily on YouTube for our Basketball partner. This position is ideal for someone with content highlight packaging skills, creative flair for video content formats, strong sourcing and video editing skills, and a passion for Basketball with an interest in building a career in social media.
Responsibilities :
- Produce and edit both Shorts and Video formats
- Watch, scour and identify video-worthy moments from an archive of gameplay. Candidates should be able to find highlight worthy moments based on trending basketball narratives / player storylines- and turn an original clip into final edit.
- Package video assets, and edit footage into compelling and visually-appealing social media storytelling videos that align with current trends and audience preferences.
- Add social editing optimizations to enhance video product to optimize opportunities for video virality
- Adhere to brand guidelines and social media platform specifications to ensure consistent and optimized video content.
- Create a forward looking weekly content plan weekly content that aligns with the international basketball schedule (all ages, demographics, genders etc.)
