Location: Hybrid in Santa Monica, CA or Remote in New York, NY

Base Compensation: *$225k - $250k annually

WSE also holds partnerships with 100 rights holders and sports properties, providing always-on programming to followers of the internet's largest and most engaged social communities. 

Wave Sports Entertainment is seeking a Vice President of Branded Content & Development to join the WSE Content Team.  This individual would serve a leadership role  in ideating and executing brand integrations into our existing series and developing new built-if-sold formats. This highly creative and detail-oriented person will also help identify and create growth opportunities for Wave’s programming as a whole.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating impactful digital programming around high-end talent  and a keen understanding of the social/digital media advertising landscape. 

Responsibilities

• Ideate and implement creative brand integrations into our Original series that maintain editorial integrity while meeting sponsor requirements 
• Develop new segments, formats, and shows to meet programming and revenue goals
• Create requisite pitch materials and outlines to secure new deals and partnerships
• Collaborate with producers and talent to execute programming
• Partner with our Sales team to pitch and sell content campaigns to brand partners 
• Mentor, support and create growth opportunities for your team of direct reports. Set a positive, collaborative, respectful work example for fellow team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of producing compelling digital content and packaging and selling concepts to brand and platform partners
• A highly creative storyteller. Able to write, produce, manage, and execute projects from start to finish
• Minimum 5 years experience managing and leading a team of direct reports
• Proactive, with the ability to anticipate obstacles and problem-solve under pressure
• Strong experience organizing production workflows and assets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of digital media trends and how audiences consume content across platforms
• Highly skilled in managing multiple projects and priorities

*This role is a full-time position with a base salary range of $225,000  to $250,000/year and may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity. Actual salary at the time of offer may vary based on multiple factors, including an individual's experience level and qualifications. Physical Requirements Work Environment

• Capacity to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery and hardware.
• The ability to communicate and exchange information clearly and accurately. 
• Work is sedentary and involves sitting for the majority of work hours.
• Able to work full-time M-F and nights and weekends as needed.
• The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and work is performed in a business office environment.
• The worker may be exposed to variable lighting conditions (brightness or darkness) and noise during production when in the office.
