Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Newscast Producer based in Louisville, KY. The Newscast Producer will be responsible for developing and producing news content for broadcast and digital platforms, including scripting, editing, and coordinating with reporters and anchors. They will also oversee the technical aspects of newscast production, ensuring that broadcasts are engaging and error-free, and will work closely with the news director and other producers to maintain high journalistic standards.
Qualifications
- Scripting, editing, and coordinating skills
- Experience with broadcast and digital news production
- Ability to oversee technical aspects of newscast production
- Strong collaboration skills for working with news directors, reporters, and anchors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Experience in news production or a similar role is a plus
