The Stock Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the building management company by maintaining an efficient and organized inventory system. This position supports the overall functionality of the team by managing supplies, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring that essential materials are readily available to address the needs of the building's operations and maintenance
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory in a neat and orderly manner.
- Enter work tickets into the company system promptly and accurately, ensuring proper tracking and documentation.
- Ensuring proper labeling and storage of materials and supplies.
- Lifting and moving materials and supplies weighing a minimum of 40 pounds.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to track inventory levels, update spreadsheets, and generate reports as needed.
- Entering and maintaining work tickets in the company's management system.
- Coordinating with vendors and team members to fulfill supply requests.
- Monitoring stock levels to identify shortages or replenishment needs.
- Performing periodic inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Assisting with general warehouse or storage area upkeep.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft/Drive Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing at least 40 pounds.
- Experience in inventory management or a similar role is preferred.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Basic understanding of building maintenance or management operations is a plus.
