We seek a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the comprehensive planning and execution of projects from initiation through launch. This includes developing project plans, actively driving crisp execution, understanding dependencies, managing timelines and budgets, and mitigating risks. Your ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and proactively address challenges will ensure project success.
We believe in the power of face-to-face interaction for effective teamwork and regularly convene for collaborative onsite meetings. However, we understand that life can be unpredictable and are pleased to offer the flexibility to work from home when needed.
Responsibilities:

Manage multiple New Product Development efforts (Hardware/Firmware) projects from concept through launch.

Communicate with Product Owners & Product Managers to translate customer requirements into project requirements and create detailed, interdependent schedules from this information.

Independently develop draft project plans, then work with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to create schedule and resource requirements from concept through launch.

Track, manage and drive schedules to ensure on-time delivery.

Proactively drive a multitude of project tasks to timely completion across the organization

Develop and manage risk mitigation plans.

Develop and manage internal/external project communication plans.

Ensure products meet all current and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Manage all corresponding project documentation.

Work with QA/Test team to ensure adequate test coverage and Wavelynx quality objectives.

Problem-solve issues as they arise.

Manage other company projects as time allows.
Requirements
-
5 years of Technical Project Management or related experience
-
3 years physical electronic product development experience is required (PCBA, Mechanicals, Firmware). Can be medical device, aerospace, B2B or B2C.

An undergraduate degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience may be considered

Current PMP certification is highly desirable

Advanced level understanding of the product development lifecycle for hardware and firmware products including all interdependencies.

Expert level fluency with MS Project or similar dependency-based project management software

Experience with regulatory testing for electronic hardware products

Experience with JIRA

Experience with global suppliers a plus.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Consistent track record of meeting deadlines when handling multiple projects at once

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfort with direct communication with all stakeholders.
