Essential Functions:
- Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operations, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety, and distribution of products and maintenance of inventory.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the assigned warehouse. employees; assign workloads to warehouse employees.
- Receive, load, unload, store, and deliver products.
- Schedule, pac,k and prepare orders for delivery; load vehicles; schedule and oversee deliveries and pick-ups.
- Prepare and maintain a variety of records and prepare reports as required. Maintain inventory of items in the warehouse and file records and reports as required.
- Operate and demonstrate the use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; ensure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Assist management in establishing warehouse standards, and procedures and advise of budget-related needs.
Qualifications:
- Warehousing and inventory control methods and procedures.
- Experience in receiving, inspecting, and issuing products.
- Operation of a forklift and other assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Space utilization and inventory techniques.
- Health and safety regulations.
- Record keeping.
- Principles and practices of training and providing work direction
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.
- Work independently with little direction.
- Read, interpret, apply,y and explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
