What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Driver - CDL Preferred position at Waverly Heights?
Weekend Shift is 10:00am - 6:00pm Saturday & Sunday
Waverly Heights is currently seeking a Driver who have a passion for driving and a commitment to ensuring the well-being of our residents and staff members. Our Drivers not only provide transportation; they are critical in supporting the independence and safety of our residents. Daily responsibilities include:
- transporting residents to medical appointments, shopping trips, and other essential destinations, providing a reliable and punctual service
- driving residents to special community functions, enhancing their social interactions and fostering a sense of community
- maintaining an organized schedule, ensuring timely arrivals and departures while accommodating residents' needs
- transporting staff members back and forth from the community and the Ardmore Junction
- upholding safety protocols during transportation, including assisting residents with entering and exiting the vehicle and securing mobility devices
- ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly to ensure safe operation.
This position requires a valid and a clear driving record, Commercial Driver's License preferred, and a clear driving record. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer services skills, a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and have the ability and willingness to learn.
