Our Email Marketing Specialist is a part-time, hourly position reporting to WavMaker’s Director of Marketing. This role will be an integral part of WavMaker's Marketing effort, driving our email marketing strategy and managing the weekly execution of our B2C and B2B SaaS email campaigns. In this role, you’ll own the development, execution, and analysis of campaigns that drive customer acquisition with a critical focus on content that connects with our customers and inspires engagement and conversion.
As Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll showcase your creativity, strategy, and analytical skills by:
- Creating engaging email campaigns that resonate with our audiences. You’ll collaborate with our Director of Marketing and internal designer to craft and manage email campaigns that drive awareness as well as journey-based drip campaigns that nurture customer relationships and drive long-term loyalty. You’ll write engaging copy and leverage compelling, high-quality content to enhance our user experience.
- Building personalized experiences. You’ll use dynamic segmentation to create targeted messages that make video creators feel seen, understood, and valued.
- Collaborating across teams. You’ll work closely with WavMaker’s Marketing, Creative, and Product leaders to coordinate messaging, gather assets, and ensure campaigns are cohesive and on-brand.
- Elevating our standards. You’ll implement best practices for email marketing and execute complex campaigns with precision. You’ll uphold the highest level of quality control by ensuring every email template is fully optimized for mobile and desktop.
- Data-driven decision-making. You’ll develop insightful email reports to track campaign success, identify trends, and implement A/B tests that will continuously improve WavMaker’s email strategy.
What You Bring to the Table
- 3 years of hands-on SaaS email marketing experience, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful email strategies and campaigns
- Strong understanding of privacy laws, global email marketing experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of marketing automation tools
- Strong understanding of A/B testing principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions
- Creative thinking with a passion for innovation and a willingness to experiment with new ideas and approaches
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
