We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced VP or Director of Marketing & Media to join our growing team.
Job Description
- The VP/ Director of Marketing & Media will be responsible for implementing and tracking marketing programs for locations in the corporate and franchise structure. This will require a thorough understanding of our business and marketing strategy, good communication with restaurant staff, vendors, and the community, and the ability to project-manage and problem solve in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- The role is responsible for the activation of both national and local marketing strategies and tactics for all locations in a given market with the aim of growing system sales and brand recognition.
- Oversee integration of a new brand identity project
- Develop and execute the social media and marketing elements of the groups marketing programs and promotions. Collaborate with other internal groups; Legal, PR, creative and design teams.
- Develop and execute a plan to optimize cross channel social communications strategy to grow market share
- Manage and co-ordinate the company website, SEO and other related items.
- Develop and manage marketing and promotional content for both the corporate and franchise new location openings.
- Attend exhibitions and conferences and other marketing and promotional events.
- Report to director of operations and other senior management in close coordination with general managers, kitchen managers, and assistant managers
Qualifications
- 5 years prior marketing or publicity experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
- Marketing or Communication degree preferred or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (phone, email, face-to-face) as well as being friendly and amicable.
- Detail-oriented, organized, a high sense of urgency, and track record of managing multiple projects/priorities to desired results.
- Promotional Activity and Brand Management skills.
- Understand and communicate marketing strategy and objectives to restaurant management and staff.
- Plan and execute marketing events in coordination with restaurant and event management.
- High level of creativity and ability to follow company protocol and processes.
- Demonstrate true hospitality, excellence, and professionalism.
- Demonstrate individual responsibility and accountability as well as valuing collaboration and teamwork.
