Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role based in Houston, TX for a Commercial HVAC Technician. The Commercial HVAC Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems as well as process refrigeration systems. The technician will also be involved in maintaining and repairing plumbing systems, and ensuring compliance with EPA regulations and safety standards. Daily activities will include diagnosing mechanical and electrical components, adhering to service schedules, and providing high-quality customer service.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems and process refrigeration systems
- Experience in performing preventive maintenance for HVAC and related systems
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and repairs
- Understanding of electricity and electrical systems
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants and compliance with safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications and training in HVAC technology are a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
